Train your boss

Amy Sutherland studied how animal trainers interact with their animals and made an analogy. She applied the same principles with her husband, so she wrote What Shamu Taught Me About Life, Love, and Marriage.

Same thing goes for your boss: start treating him like an exotic animal, tame him!

1. Ignore your boss's bad behaviour, use the least-reinforcing scenario

2. Any interaction is training

3. Reward the behaviour you want (like poneys get sugar after jumping over some obstacle)

It isn't all about manipulation, it's about HOW you manipulate.
